Cloud Swarm

Posted : October 13, 2005

I'm walking over the elevated pedestrian crossing at the corner of the park. It reaches high enough to see the little roof decks people have setup on their brownstones. It's nearing sunset and this is the choice location to marvel at the New York skyline. I wonder if the brownstone owners are annoyed that I have the same view as they have for free. It's an amazing sunset, and I notice the wonderful shape the clouds have taken on. One after another they look like giant arc-de-triomph's in the sky. As I suddenly notice how they seem filled with bright spots, the lower parts of the arcs start falling down, or rather swarming down it seems. Wait, clouds filled with bright spots that swarm? What can that be? Suddenly in a hurry I run down the stairs of the pedestrian bridge, into the park. Then the cloud that is hanging above me also starts swarming down. Running now I both realize that the park is covered in white material, but it isn't snow, and that I almost forgot that I have to pick up the car from the garage, which is in the city, which is by now engulfed in swarming clouds. Then I wake up. In the shower I think that maybe the production schedule is a bit tight.
